Alptegin Albayraktaroğlu is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Innovation at Özyeğin University Faculty of Business, Istanbul, Türkiye.
He is currently using design science methodology and cooperating with B2B manufacturing firms to explore how generative AI can be augmented in these organizations; with potential implications for theories such as absorptive capacity and transaction cost economics. He has published in premier journals like the Journal of Management, as well as leading field outlets such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
Alptegin holds a PhD in Management from Bogazici University. Prior to his PhD, he studied Strategy and International Management at the University of St. Gallen and Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.
